It is one of the least digitised industries in the world but also the largest – 1 in 9 people globally work in the construction industry and it constitutes 11% of global GDP.

We got our start as a high-end construction project management consultancy. As a consultancy, we are focused on genuinely upgrading the way construction projects are delivered. We then take the deep understanding of the projects we work on to develop construction management software products that anyone can use to deliver their projects better.
We are building a full suite of products one module at a time – kind of like office 365 but for construction management. (Check out Shape, our construction management tech and watch this video about what we are doing)
The core of all this is our true secret sauce; people. We only recruit the very best both in capability and personality. The Role
We are currently looking for senior/lead frontend developers who are really interested in pushing the limits of what a ReactJS PWA (Progressive Web App) can do.
The product you will be creating will be the digital backbone of a construction organization. It will be used by people who are building our roads, railways, buildings, power & water supplies. We are improving the civilisation we live in by digitizing the very process of building it!
Our platform is meant to be used out in the field, office, and board room. It will help people do their jobs by digitising workflows at the coalface and feeding information up to descriptive and predictive analytics.
For this role, an ideal candidate would be great at:
- Writing and talking in English, it is the main language we communicate and collaborate in, it would be awesome if your English Level is B or Higher. Please submit your CV and cover letter in English (Required)
- Writing and understanding Typescript / JavaScript. You have more than 3 years of professional experience using React or Next.js (Required)
- Making tests a priority by writing tests (unit and functional) and creating testable code (Required)
- Using CSS pre/post-processors like Tailwind, Post CSS, Styled Components, LESS, SASS and/or others (Required)
- Semantic documents using HTML , developing great user interfaces (Desirable)
- Identifying bottlenecks, using tools to diagnose and refactor code (Desirable)
- Going full stack and, depending on the project, either diving in the Rails services to add a new endpoint or modify behaviour (Desirable)

Salary and Benefits
- 4-day week full time contract, fully remote. Plus, every weekend is a 3-day weekend but salaries are still “full-time”!
- Huge focus on creating “software engineer’s nirvana” to help you do things that really interest and challenge you

- Shape-up inspired methodology, as we’re working in 6-week cycles
- Performance-related salary. For Developers, base salary would start between INR 13,49,512 to 25,20,787 (depending on the level)
- Annual bonus in equity depending on level
