Sr. Software Engineer (Backend) [6-8k USD/Mo]
Our client, a San Francisco-based leading company with a strong mission to unlock organizational potential through collaborative learning, is seeking for Senior Backend Engineers to join their globally distributed team. Their technology is adopted by many Fortune 500 companies.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client-side developers to design new product features.
- Develop RESTful JSON APIs to support the application.
- Design backend data models, caching, background processing, reporting, and notifications related to your features.
- Collaborate with other backend team members to choose the right design patterns, data models, and algorithms for reliability.
- Design and build fault-tolerant integrations.
- Use backend profiling tools to optimize backend APIs.
- Investigate and propose solutions for technology defects and client issues.
Requirements:
- A degree in computer science
- 5+ years of experience as a backend developer in an API or web development capacity.
- 3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries using object-relational data interfaces.
- 3+ years of experience with relevant technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with AWS, EC2, and Docker.
- Experience with Ruby, Python, or PHP.
- Experience with Memcached and Redis.
- Experience with information retrieval and real-time search.
Compensation:
6.000 – 8000 USD/Mo
