Responsibilities:

  1. Enhancing system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures.
  2. Improving applications by recognizing opportunities for enhancement, making suggestions, and designing and implementing systems.
  3. Maintaining and enhancing existing codebases and conducting peer reviews of code changes.
  4. Collaborating with team members to implement technical designs.
  5. Exploring and incorporating new technologies as needed.
  6. Preparing written knowledge transfer materials.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience solving technical challenges with a strong grasp of the back-end tech stack (primarily Python, GraphQL, and frameworks like Flask and/or FastAPI) and the front-end tech stack (primarily React, Typescript, and Redux).
  • Experience in other tech stacks (such as Java and/or NodeJS, AngularJS, VueJS, MobX) and frameworks (like Django) is a significant plus.
  • Preferred experience in Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (PACS, OHIF, DICOM, FDA, ISO 14971, ISO 13485).
  • Strong familiarity and expertise with various types of databases (including SQL and/or NoSQL, primarily Postgres and/or DynamoDB).
  • Knowledge of graphic libraries (such as OpenGL, Verge3D, Babylon.js, PyQt5, Tkinter) is advantageous.
  • Experience with different CI/CD pipelines (such as CircleCI, Jenkins, or TravisCI) is a bonus, as well as cloud experience (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure).
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, equivalent experience, or a demonstrated exceptional ability to contribute to the team are encouraged to apply.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging within a sizable codebase.
