Job Description
This is a hybrid-role open to candidates in the Salt Lake City, UT area with an expectation of three in-office working days at our South Salt Lake City headquarters.
PDQ is seeking an experienced Account Manager to proactively manage the customer experience, beginning at implementation. Through thorough discovery, you’ll strategize beyond individual product retention to gain a deep understanding of which of PDQ’s other product offerings would best address the customer’s current pain points and goals for their environment. You will serve as a customer advocate and seller throughout the entire customer journey.
How You Might Spend Your Day
- Strategically identifying opportunities for product expansion within an existing product or to an additional PDQ product.
- Identify opportunities for product training and education, in order to retain and grow existing customers.
- Effectively communicate application features and product information.
- Document product specific feedback from customers in a consolidated/consistent way and during regular intervals.
- Effectively uncover the root cause for low usage when customer is flagged at risk.
- Ensure annual renewal is secured.
Who You Are
- Ownership: You take responsibility for projects, drive results, and deliver on commitments

- 2+ years of SaaS/B2B Account Executive, Account Manager experience in a closing role
- Firm grasp of CRM software (we use Salesforce), as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

- Natural curiosity and proactivity – you have a desire to learn as much as you can about PDQ products and how they can provide added value to sysadmins
- Strong aptitude to grasp technical products and concepts and convey them through product demonstrations
- Ability to demonstrate skilled discovery leading to uncovering customer opportunity
- Excellent pipeline hygiene and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skillset, particularly with the ability to build authentic business relationships
- Strong focus on goal attainment and consistently driving towards achieving and exceeding targets
